1) When and where were you born?
East Ham 2nd February 1970.
2) Have you always worked in the theatre - if not what else did you used to do for a
living?
Yes. I started at a holiday camp when I was 16 years old - On Canvey Island called Kings.
3) We noticed a wedding ring at Southend - are you married - how long and who's
the lucky lady?
No. Engaged to a girl called Michelle. She is the Stage Manager on the Chuckle Brothers.
We have a 4 year old shihtzu called Sprocket.

4) How long have you known Joe and where did you meet?
I've been working for Joe for 9 years but have known him about 11 years. We met on
Joe's first Royal Variety Show where I was operating "Larry the Loafer" for Brian Conley.
5) How did 'Raynard' come about?
Raynard came about when Joe asked if I wouldn't mind going on stage in my pants and it
has just got bigger from there!!!
6) How much do you put in behind the scenes for a show? You seem to be working
before, during and after.
My title for Joe's Show is Tour Manager so that involves me lighting the show, putting in
the sound, driving us about, also calling the show and telling the follow spots where to
point.
7) When the tours over what do you do then? - Are you in any pantos?
I work for a big production company called QDOS. So I make props for most of the
panto's and also I Company Manage a Panto for them and Tour Manage the Chuckle
Brothers.
8) Who is your favourite singer and actor?
Singer :- Michael Huttchence x-lead singer INXS
Actor :- Will Ferrell at the moment (Elf)
9) How much input do you have into the layout of the show - Raynard act?
Me and Joe work well with each other and we normally work on the act together.
10) Have you any other goals in life?
Not really. I've done most of the things I wanted to do already :- Marry Michelle and
have little Raynard's.
11) Have you appeared on TV (other than Des and Mel!)?
4 Royal Variety shows - 3 series of the "Brian Conley Show", 2 TV Specials with Joe -
The Ian Wright Show.
12) What is it like working with Joe?
It's not like working. It's like being with your bestmate all year round....we have a great
laugh.
13) Do you ever get recognised in the street?
No - only as Matt Lucas (Little Britain) or Harry Hill...
14) Where do you see yourself in 10 years time? (Still touring with Joe we hope!)

15) Is there anything you can share with us that we havn't already asked for the
website so that we can get to know Ray Tizzard better?
I like walking on the beach with my dog and Michelle. I also enjoy writing and watching
DVDs. I'm not very good at spelling and I've got O level pottery.....Big Spiderman and
Elvis fan.
