A Bit More About Joe..

Joe has continued to delight audiences with his live stand-up tours for 30 years

His TV career started as a runner-up on 'New Faces' in 1987 and since then he has gone on to be crowned King Of The Jungle on ITV's 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' in 2004; Hosted the long running television series 'The Price Is Right' for ITV.  Starred in ITV's 'Dancing on Ice in 2013; appeared on five Royal Variety Performances; appeared numerous times on ITV's 'Celebrity Chase' and on BBC's 'Mastermind' to name but a few!

Joe's theatrical credits are equally impressive having starred in a number of West End and touring productions such as 'Larry Shue's 'The Nerd'; Tom Stoppard's 'Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead'; Mel Brooks 'The Producers'; 'Ha Ha Holmes - The Hound Of The Baskervilles'; the hilarious 'Spamalot' as the role of 'King Arthur'; John Godbers 'April In Paris' and in 2022 in the role of 'Frank Spencer' in the new adaptation of the hit TV sitcom 'Some Mothers Do Ave Em'. And of course, every Christmas can be found starring in pantomime, which this year will be 'Peter Pan' at the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend.

Having qualified as a pilot and taken up boxing and running, Joe has continued to enhance his 'Action Man' credentials by competing in a celebrity edition of Total WipeOut against the likes of Fatima Whitbread and Sally Gunnell; attempted to smash the most amount of Martial Arts throws in a minute on Guinness World Records Smashed; spent time in a Costa Rican prison for Virgin One's The Prisoner X documentary season and was shipped off to the jungles of Guyana for the Discovery Channel's Alone In The Wild series, where he survived alone with a camera, in the depths of the rainforest for 5 days.

Joe has also found the time to study for a degree in Geo Sciences as well as focus his creative talents in to painting some fantastic original paintings...
